Oromar Bait Company is a frozen/live bait wholesale manufacturer and distributor.  

We are a family-owned business that has over 35 years of experience in the fishing industry. We are a branch of Southern Coast Fisheries, a renowned company with a long history of providing high-quality seafood products. We own and operate a pristine fishing fleet that targets California squid, anchovies, sardines and mackerel.

MEET OUR FLEET!

F/V BUENA VENTURA

Captian: Beto Camacho

The first member of our fleet, the Buena Ventura was purchased in the summer of 2015 and saw a complete retrofit. She has a capacity of 55 tons.

F/V SOUTHERN PACIFIC

Captain: Moises Godoy

The Southern Pacific was added to the fleet in the summer of 2019. This  65-foot aluminum has a capacity of 70 tons.

F/V SOUTHERN COAST

Captain: Corby Jackson

The Southern Coast joined the fleet in the spring of 2020. This 68-foot aluminum drum seiner, with a 70-ton capacity, has consistently shown its effectiveness over the years.


F/V SEA WAVE

Captain: Joe Ferrigno

This 75-foot purse seiner, introduced to the fleet in the spring of 2024, quickly rose to prominence despite its recent entry. With an impressive 80-ton capacity, this vessel is top-notch.
